Sam's Super SummerSam Houston Historic SchoolhouseSummer Day CampEvery Tuesday in June, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM Each Tuesday will be filled with activities and fun! Located at Sam Houston Schoolhouse Each week we will study a different topic: Civil War Music, Flags and Weaving; Corn Grinding, Butter Churning, Hoecakes and Cherokees; Revolutionary War, Bullet Making and Tin Punch; Cornhusk Dolls, Whizzers, Jacob's Ladder, Colonial Games and Cumberland Reel Admission is $3 for children and $2 for adults.This is to cover the cost of supplies for the crafts and admission to the grounds. All activities are planned for ages rising Kindergarten to rising 6th grade.Our class limit is 30 children per day, so reserve your spot early! Please reserve your place by Friday before the week you'd like to attend, to allow us to purchase materials for everyone. Call our schoolhouse at 983-1550 to reserve your spot or to see what is going on for the week. You may bring sack lunches (you may keep them in the refrigerator at Raven Hall). This is NOT a drop-off day. Parents MUST stay with their children.
