THIS IS A FREE EVENT!

The museum, gift shop and schoolhouse will be open to the public. There will be games and for children. At 1:00 pm each day, around the flag poles, there will be a gun salute in honor of Sam Houston's birthday. Costumed historical interpreters will be on the grounds and Tennessee Reenactors will present arms throughout the day. Hot dogs and drinks will be available in Raven Hall.

March 2nd is Sam Houston's birthday. It is also the birthday of Dr. Seuss, so there will be readings of some of his books in the schoolhouse throughout the day as well.
